Puppyka Terms of Service

Who you are agreeing with

Puppyka is provided by Lambda-Phi, located in San Jose, CA ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of Puppyka and, together with the Puppyka Privacy Policy, form the agreement between us. California law governs them without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute that cannot be settled informally belongs to the state or federal courts serving Santa Clara County, California, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived. The Puppyka website and its forms, including program applications, stay under the company terms of use.

Access and accounts

Puppyka is a collaboration service. Access may be invitation-based or otherwise subject to eligibility or usage limits. Keep your account secure and tell us if you believe it has been used without your permission. The service may require compatible third-party accounts or services, which remain subject to their own terms. Lambda-Phi does not control third-party services and, to the extent permitted by law, is not responsible for their terms, availability, changes, suspensions, acts, or omissions. We may change features, compatibility, limits, and eligibility requirements.

Billing and cancellation

Billed monthly with automatic renewal. Cancellation takes effect at your next monthly renewal. No refunds. Service starts only after payment is received.

Acceptable use

Use Puppyka lawfully and submit or share content only when you have the authority to do so, including material belonging to an employer, customer, or another person. Do not disrupt the service, access accounts or workspaces without authorization, or resell access. To the extent permitted by law, you must not reverse engineer the service; discover or probe non-public interfaces or technical methods; scrape or automatically extract information outside documented interfaces; bypass limits or controls; or use the service or non-public materials to build, train, or improve a competing product.

Your content and the permission you give

You retain the ownership rights you have in content you submit or share. You grant Lambda-Phi a non-exclusive license, sublicensable to service providers and contractors acting on our behalf, to host, reproduce, process, transmit, display, adapt, format, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, support, improve, and develop the service, carry out your instructions, enforce these terms, and comply with law. Sharing a session includes its existing content and subsequent additions, and makes it available to workspace members, including those who join later. Our handling of information is described in the Puppyka Privacy Policy.

Our rights and your feedback

Lambda-Phi and its licensors keep all rights in the Puppyka name, marks, software, and documentation. No license is granted beyond using the service under these terms. Feedback you provide may be used by Lambda-Phi without restriction or compensation.

Warranties and liability

"Lambda-Phi Parties" means Lambda-Phi and its affiliates, founders, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers. Puppyka is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Lambda-Phi Parties disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, availability, accuracy, and results. They do not guarantee uninterrupted service, continued availability of shared content, or recall of copies held by others. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Lambda-Phi Parties will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, goodwill, or business. Their total aggregate liability arising from Puppyka or these terms will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for Puppyka in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for your use of Puppyka and the content you submit or share. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify the Lambda-Phi Parties against third-party claims, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use, violation of these terms, or content submitted or shared without authority.

Ending use or access

You may stop using Puppyka at any time. Stopping use does not itself erase information already held or recall copies held by others. Privacy requests go through the contact form as described in the Puppyka Privacy Policy. Subject to applicable law, we may suspend or end access for violations of these terms or for security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, legal, compliance, operational, or business reasons, and may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions go through the contact form.
